Duterte administration will expedite the construction of Clark Green City

President Rodrigo Duterte administration will not only pursue but will expedite the construction of the proposed Clark Green City.

”Since this is a very good plan, we will not only pursue this, but we will hasten its implementation and construction,” BCDA President and Chief Executive Officer Vivencio ‘Vince’ Dizon said.

He said the Clark Green City will help a lot in the long-term vision of the Duterte administration to decongest over populated Metro Manila.

”Metro Manila is one of the densest cities in the world. So the long-term solution to traffic and congestion is we have to build new cities where our countrymen can transfer,” Dizon said.

In line with the construction of the Clark Green City, Dizon said the Duterte administration has lined-up the construction of the Clark-Manila railway and a world-class new terminal building of the Clark International Airport.

He said the Clark Green City would create big number of jobs and opportunities because many private companies and even government offices will be enticed to transfer in the proposed new city.
