LOOK| Robin Padilla turn over a P5M for Marawi kids

On Wednesday, President Rodrigo Duterte witnessed actor Robin Padilla turn over a P5-million donation to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to help the children affected by the Marawi City crisis.

According to the caption of the photos released by Malacañang, the donation was received by DSWD Undersecretary Emmanuel Leyco.

"The P5-million donation is intended for the immediate psychosocial intervention for the children affected by the armed conflict in Marawi City," it said.
The famous actor was joined by Fisheries Development Authority General Manager Glen A. Pangapalan, Frabelle Foods Corp. President Francisco Tiu Laurel, Jr., and his brother Rommel C. Padilla.
Others who witnessed the signing of the deed of donation were Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez, DSWD Asst. Sec. Rodolfo Santos, and Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief-of-Staff Gen. Eduardo Año.
Around 400,000 residents have been displaced since fighting between Arm Forces of the Philippines and ISIS Maute terrorists group erupted on May 23, which prompted strongman President Duterte to declare martial law in Mindanao.
