The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Wednesday said, supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte from all over the country will gather at Rizal Park on February 25 for a vigil and rock concert in support of the President's campaign against illegal drugs and corruption.
In a press conference, DILG Assistant Secretary Epimaco Densing said the gathering at Quirino Grandstand will not focus on other events commemorating the 31st anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.
Densing said pro-Duterte groups from all over the country will join a vigil and rock concert on February 25.
"There will be a vigil, prayers and a concert," he said.
He added that supporters from Pampanga, Bulacan, Maynila, Makati, Pasay, Paranaque and other areas will also join a march scheduled on February 26.
The upcoming stupid EDSA anniversary celebration will be low-key compared to previous years as it will be done within Camp Aguinaldo instead of its usual venue at the People Power monument at the corner of White Plains and EDSA in Quezon City.
