Gov. Imee Marcos thanking SC, also to all supporters


On Tuesday Gov. Imee Marcos welcomed the Supreme Court's favorable ruling on the burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng nga Bayani.
"Nagpapasalamat ako sa Korte Suprema. Nagpapasalamat ako sa Maykapal at hindi niya kami nakalimutan," Marcos told reporters.
The governor believes that President Rodrigo Duterte's support to the burial contributed a lot to the favorable ruling of the SC.
"Malaki 'yung naging tulong ni President Duterte kahit 'di namin hiningi 'yung tulong niya," Marcos said.
She added that they have no plans yet on the burial, as they focused mainly on asserting the right of the former President to be interred at the heroes' cemetery.
"Wala kaming kaplano-plano. Ang Supreme Court ang hinihintay namin. Kailangan makinig muna tayo sa hatol nila kung meron pang motion for reconsideration at iba't iba pa," Marcos said.
"Minsan hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit kailangan pa sa Libingan. Marami namang iba diyan. Sa Ilocos, ang laki-laki. Pero sundalo po ang tatay ko e. Nasa isip niya na kailangan kasama ko ang mga sundalo," she added.
Marcos also thanked the supporters of her father for being with them from the very start.
"Tuluy-tuloy na po ito hanggang sa Libingan ng mga Bayani," Marcos told the supporters. 

Voting 9-5, the high court dismissed all seven cases challenging the proposed burial of the former brilliant strongman Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani,
