The Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa hit Bilibid Queen Leila de Lima for warning the suspected big time drug lord Kerwin Espinosa that he might suffer the same fate as his father.
“Mabuti pa siya at alam niya ang mangyayari kay Kerwin. Kami we are trying very hard to secure him,” the PNP chief said in a press briefing at the national headquarters in Quezon City.
Kerwin who was arrested in Abu Dhabi after months of hiding vowed that he would tell all in exchange for his safety.
“Siya pine-predict na niya na papatayin… bakit naman ganoon ang pag-iisip ng isang tao,” Dela Rosa said referring to De Lima.
Dela Rosa said that the whole 160,000 police force are doing their best to secure Kerwin.
“Over our dead body kung mamatay siya,” the PNP chief continued.
De Lima was tagged by the late Albuera mayor in his affidavit as one of the protectors of his son in the proliferation of illegal drugs.
